Gecko on the Wall:
In 2021, I completed my Senior film for Lesley University's
College of Art and Design. I was inspired to make this film from my
memories of visiting my Grandmother's home in Hawaii. I remember
lizards being a common sight in local houses, and I wanted to
show that same kind wonder in this animated short film.
Animation Demo Reel:
For this demo reel I have selected clips from animations that I worked on from 2019 to 2021. The animated shorts in this demo reel include:
-
"Fear": 2019
-
"Rivet Ranch": 2019
-
"Hell of a Day": 2020. Concept by Alec McPhillips, backgrounds by Emily Paquin.
-
"Gecko on the Wall": 2021
The music on the demo reel was composed in Garage Band by me.
What Is Group Therapy?: An Animated Short
In 2019, the Northeastern Society for Group Psychotherapy collaborated with my college to give my class at Lesley a chance to create an animated promotional video as an internship.
So a group of students including me, Brian Hernandez, and Teanna Pittman worked together on this animated project. I did the character design, background score, and some of the animation.
Brian Hernandez and Teanna Pittman worked on the rest of the animation, and the editing. Someone I knew outside the class named Ariana Nance agreed to do the voiceover for the video.
What is Earth Love United?
(Animated Video)

In 2022, I volunteered with the environmental organization Earth Love United to animate some shots for their introductory promotional video.
The shots that I animated for the video were the third scene in the classroom, the fourth shot that transitioned into the laptop video of a car producing exhaust, and the sixth shot that shows an artificial coral reef being built.

Hamlet Animatic:
Act 1, Scene 5
In 2019, as an exercise in creating animatics, I made an animatic for Act 1, Scene 5, from the play Hamlet. Due to my interest in visual storytelling, I filled many shots with elements that reflect on the characters' dialogue. I did the backgrounds and characters for the animatic, while the dialogue-audio came from the following media; Laurence Olivier's film Hamlet (1948), Richard Burton's recorded theatrical production of Hamlet (1964), Kenneth Branagh's film Hamlet (1996), and Gregory Doran's film Hamlet (2009).
